AMBASSADORS OF CHRIST Leadership

Ambassadors of Christ is blessed to have a leadership team of pastors, elders, deacons, and lay-leaders who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

The pastors and staff of Ambassadors of Christ are assisted by the elders and deacons who have submitted themselves to the Lord and to serve His Church.

Bishop Victor R. Scott

Senior Pastor

Bishop Victor R. Scott has devoted over 25 years to pastoral ministry across Georgia, serving churches in rural, suburban, and urban settings. Licensed to preach at 19 by Powell Baptist Church in Harlem, Georgia, under Rev. Randall Whitaker, Bishop Scott began his ministry while attending Georgia Southern University, where he pastored Ogeechee Free Will Baptist Church in Millen.

Over the years, he has served as Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Executive Pastor, eventually joining Ambassadors of Christ Ministries in Columbus, Georgia, in 2014. After years as Executive Pastor and later Senior Pastor (Presiding Elder), he was ordained and consecrated to the Order of Bishop in 2025, continuing to serve as Senior Pastor (Bishop) of Ambassadors of Christ, and as Jurisdictional Bishop of the West Georgia Missionary Jurisdiction since his ordination to the episcopate.

Bishop Scott also serves as General Overseer for the Diocese of Columbus and Executive Director of Policy and Procedure for APNI. He is the author of over ten books and founder of Scott Publishing Services. He holds a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary and a BA in Sociology from Georgia Southern. He and his wife, Miranda, have two daughters.

Bishop Luis R. Scott, Sr.

Founding Pastor

Bishop Luis R. Scott is the Founder and Senior Pastor Emeritus of Ambassadors of Christ Ministries.

Ambassadors of Christ began to serve the Columbus, GA; Ft. Benning, GA; and Phenix City, AL areas on June 3, 2007.

Prior to that, Bishop Scott served as a chaplain in the United States Army. He retired from active duty in July 2007.

Bishop Scott is known for being an insightful and challenging preacher of the Gospel, an authority on leadership development, and an accomplished author of more than 10 books on theology, spiritual healing, and counseling.

He has expressed an unwavering commitment to restoring back to the Church the biblical mindset. The focus of this commitment is an emphasis on reconciliation and restoration.

Bishop Scott graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1986 (BA, Biblical Theology, Greek Emphasis) and from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1989 (MDiv.)

Bishop Scott has been happily married for 42 years to his wife, Iris. They have four grown children: Victor, Luis, Jr., Verónica, and Josué and they have ten grandchildren.


The Diocese of Columbus

In August of 2018, Bishop Scott was consecrated a Bishop in the Lord’s Church as a member of Alliance Partners Network International, under the ecclesiastical leadership of Archbishop William C. Hackworth, II, who is the Establishmentarian and Metropolitan Archbishop.

At that time he was also appointed as the first and founding Diocesan Bishop of the Diocese of Columbus. Bishop Scott was also appointed to sit as a member of the Apostolic Council of the Alliance Partners Network International.
